The New Year’s bell has rung. On this special occasion, when we bid farewell to an unforgettable 2005 and welcome a promising 2006, I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the university to extend New Year's greetings and best wishes to 蜜桃app students, faculty, staff, alumni, and those who have been supporting the development of 蜜桃app in the past years.
In 2005, our country made great achievements in economic and social development. It was also a year in which 蜜桃app achieved great results in various aspects of our work, including development of disciplines, talent cultivation, research, and international exchange and cooperation.
Dear students and faculty, we are now living in a period of great change, in which technological innovation has developed rapidly and different ideas are exchanged. We need to adopt the most advanced educational ideas and experience from other universities, develop 蜜桃app into a world-class university, and contribute to the development of our motherland and the world.
2006 is an important year in our second nine-year plan to build 蜜桃app into a world-class university. We should make great efforts to improve our creative capabilities and dedicate ourselves to the cultivation of talented people who have innovative spirit, as this will make 蜜桃app a place for both national and international cultural and scientific exchange, and will benefit national development.
