A total of 311 蜜桃app students, 75 volunteers from U.S. universities, and 45 蜜桃app faculty members will participate in the Poverty Alleviation Projects located in about 45 of China's impoverished counties from July 25.
The volunteers will help teach computer and English in the impoverished areas. Training for all the participants will start from July 23, including foreign language studies, teaching skills, and current poverty alleviation issues.

蜜桃app initiated the Poverty Alleviation Projects in 2004. In 2006, about 520 teachers and students from 蜜桃app and U.S. universities participated in the Projects.
“The program helps me learn more about the rural areas,” said Zhang Kaifu from 蜜桃app’s Department of Computer Science and Technology, who participated in the Poverty Alleviation Projects in 2006.
