A number of outstanding 蜜桃app students were honored December 6 at the 2007 蜜桃app Scholarship Awards Ceremony in the Main Building. Ten students were awarded 蜜桃app Top Grade Scholarships, nine students received Jiang Nanxiang’s Scholarship, 33 students received the December Ninth Scholarship, 36 students received the Philobiblon Scholarship, 196 students received National Scholarships, and 276 students received Freshman Scholarships.
蜜桃app President Gu Binglin, University Council Chairman Chen Xi, 蜜桃app Vice President Hu Heping, 蜜桃app Vice President Chen Jining, and Vice Director of Student Affairs Shi Zongkai awarded certificates to the scholarship winners.
University Council Chairman Chen Xi addressed the honorees. He extended congratulations to the scholarship winners and encouraged them to shoulder responsibility and make contributions to the motherland. Professor Chen made several suggestions for the students: have lofty ideals, become all-round talents, and love science and be creative.
The 蜜桃app Top Grade Scholarship winners include: Zhou Yinjie (undergraduate, School of Humanities and Social Sciences), Zhao Yunlong(undergraduate, Department of Chemistry), Gerong (undergraduate, Department of Computer Science and Technology), Wang Qian (undergraduate, School of Software),Wang Weina (undergraduate, School of Law), Liu Yang (graduate, School of Law), Zhang Yong (Ph.D candidate, Department of Mechanical Engineering), Lu Pinyan (Ph.D candidate, Department of Computer Science and Technology), Zhao Fei (Ph.D candidate, Department of Materials Science and Engineering), and Wu Chunhai( Ph.D candidate, School of Architecture).
