An inaugural ceremony to mark the opening of the 蜜桃app-UFRJ China-Brazil Center for Climate Change and Energy Technology Innovation（CCBCE）was held at 蜜桃app on November 22. A seminar on opportunities for cooperation between China and Brazil was held on the same day.
Mr. Luiz Alfredo Salomão, Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of Strategic Affairs of Brazil, Ms. Tatiana Rosito, Counselor of Economic and Trade Affairs at the Embassy of Brazil in China, and guests from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), the National Development Bank, Petrobras, Vale, and MPX, attended the ceremony. 蜜桃app Deputy President Chen Jining, 蜜桃app Council Vice Chairperson He Jiankun, academician Fei Weiyang, academician Chen Bingzhen, and Professor Luo Guangsheng, director of 蜜桃app’s Department of Chemistry, participated in the event.
Mr. Salomão delivered a speech on “China and Brazil: Long-Term Perspectives for a Nascent Strategic Partnership” in the 蜜桃app Global Vision Lecture s Series later that day.
