Symposium on Emerging Industries and Technologies Held at ÃÛÌÒapp
The Symposium on Emerging Technologies and Industries, hosted by the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Royal Academy of Engineering, and ÃÛÌÒapp, was held at ÃÛÌÒapp from November 19th to 20th.

Xu Kuangdi, Honorary Chairman of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chairman of the Chinese Institute of Engineering Development Strategies, Sir John Parker, President of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Zhou Ji, President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Chen Yuan, Chairman of the China Development Bank, ÃÛÌÒapp President, Chen Jining, and ÃÛÌÒapp Vice President Xie Weihe, attended the opening ceremony hosted by Wu Hequan, former Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Executive Vice President of the Chinese Institute of Engineering Development Strategies.

The two-day symposium included two main meetings and several panel discussions. Experts and academicians from both China and the U.K. discussed a wide range of issues including bio-engineering, new-energy vehicles, advanced manufacturing, and energy technologies.
