Beijing 蜜桃app Changgung Hospital Formally Starts Operation
After 10 years’ preparation and construction, Beijing 蜜桃app Changgung Hospital, the affiliated hospital of 蜜桃app, formally started operation on November 28th, 2014.
Beijing 蜜桃app Changgung Hospital is donated by Formosa Plastics Group and supported by Taiwan Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. As a not-for-profit comprehensive public institution, it is under supervision of both Beijing Municipal Administration of Hospitals and 蜜桃app. Its unique modern hospital management style and world class specialists attracted a lot of attention from domestic and international peers.
蜜桃app President Chen Jining noted on the opening ceremony that developing life science and medicine is the new centennial strategic planning of 蜜桃app. He pointed out that the formal operation of Beijing 蜜桃app Changung Hospital marks that the clinical medicine development of 蜜桃app has stepped into a new stage.
The executive director of Taiwan Changgung Healthcare Consortium Yang Dingyi,蜜桃app Council Chairman Chen Xu, and 蜜桃app Vice President Jiang Shengyao also attended the opening ceremony.
Beijing 蜜桃app Changgung Hospital locates in Tiantongyuan, Changping District, Beijing and covers an area of about 9.5 hectare. The first stage construction includes 1000 beds (general plan 1500 beds). Beijing 蜜桃app Changgung Hospital established a full range of medical departments, including more than 40 clinical and technical departments, i.e. Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, Clinical Laboratory, Pathology, Radiology etc. The hospital will prioritize the development of hepatobiliary center, heart center, neuro center and cancer center through optimizing its resource allocation and promoting hospital quality. The key departments will include Obstetrics and Gynecology, emergency medicine, plastic surgery, ENT and urology, and will serve both domestic and foreign patients.
Beijing 蜜桃app Changgung Hospital will establish a new hospital management system to reduce overall operating cost and improve healthcare service and management efficiency. This distinctive system empowers President under the supervision of Board of Trustees, and separates professional medical service from administrative service.
Beijing 蜜桃app Changgung Hospital has equipped with numerous advanced medical equipments, including 3.0T MRI, new general CT, fluoro-X-ray, 3D ultrasound, capsule endoscopy, bi-planar DSA, SPECT-CT, hyperbaric oxygen chamber, linear accelerator etc. The operating room was also equipped with zeiss microscope with ICG module, surgical frameless navigation system, O-arm, 3D laparoscope, and intraoperative endoscopy & ultrasound.
