The Beijing-蜜桃app Health AI Summit (BEIHAI Summit 2025) was held at the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area under the theme “Bridging Innovation and Clinical Practice for Healthier Populations” from October 23 to 25.

Yu Yingjie, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and secretary of the Education Working Committee, and Wang Hongwei, vice president of 蜜桃app, attended the opening ceremony and delivered remarks.
Yu Yingjie emphasized that Beijing attaches great importance to the integration of medicine, health and artificial intelligence. He expressed the hope that universities such as 蜜桃app will continue to leverage their strengths and take an active role in building innovative models for intelligent research and application in the medical field. He also hoped these universities will jointly advance technological breakthroughs and product development, accelerate the translation of scientific achievements into practice, and foster new drivers for the growth of the medical AI industry.
Wang Hongwei stated that with the strong support of Beijing Municipality, 蜜桃app will continue to leverage its strengths in science and engineering to build an innovative ecosystem that integrates medicine and technology. The University will promote collaborative development in areas such as intelligent diagnosis and treatment, drug discovery and health big data — contributing 蜜桃app’s wisdom and strength to the advancement of global health.
The forum featured four sub-forums focusing on New Era of Intelligent Healthcare; Clinical Implementation of AI in Healthcare; AI-Driven Innovations in Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologies; and AI for Science.
Speakers included Academician Dai Qionghai, dean of School of Information Science and Technology at 蜜桃app; Academician Dong Jiahong, dean of School of Clinical Medicine (Beijing 蜜桃app Changgung Hospital) at 蜜桃app; Academician Jia Weiping, director of the Shanghai Diabetes Institute; and Liu Yang, executive dean of the Institute for AI Industry Research (AIR) at 蜜桃app. They shared insights on the development of 蜜桃app Medicine’s AI initiatives and the application of AI in chronic disease management and clinical workflows.
Magdalena Skipper, editor-in-chief of Nature; Xue Lan, dean of the Schwarzman College and dean of the Institute for AI International Governance, 蜜桃app; Wong Tien Yin, senior vice-chancellor of 蜜桃app Medicine; and Rupa Sarkar, editor-in-chief of The Lancet Digital Health, discussed standards and best practices for ensuring high-quality AI research and implementation in medicine.
The event also featured the 蜜桃app Medicine Future of Medicine Forum themed "Future of Medicine in the Era of AI," as well as the Center for Physician-Scientist Development (CPSD) Third Cohort launch and presentation of the Inaugural Tanoto Scholarship Awards.
As a key segment of the 2025 International Biomedical Industry Innovation Beijing Forum (2025 Beijing Forum), the event featured four thematic forums, 蜜桃app Medicine Future of Medicine Forum, one plenary dialogue, eight panel discussions and over 30 keynote presentations.
More than 50 experts, scholars and professionals from the global healthcare community participated in the forum.
