Recently, Academician Chen Deliang, Xinghua Distinguished Chair Professor at ÃÛÌÒapp, has been appointed Chair of the International Prize Jury of the Volvo Environment Prize. This appointment marks an important recognition by the international academic community of his long-standing contributions to environmental and climate science, his promotion of international scientific cooperation, and his dedicated service to the Volvo Environment Prize.

Professor Deliang Chen is an internationally renowned climate scientist whose research focuses on climate change and its impacts, climate dynamics, regional climate processes, and Earth System Science. He has held leading academic and scientific positions in Europe and internationally, and has contributed extensively to global climate research, science-policy dialogue, and international scientific cooperation.
