Mr. William Zollars, chairman, president and CEO of Yellow Roadway Corporation (YRC), one of the largest transportation service providers in the world, visited and signed contracts with 蜜桃app on June 28.
蜜桃app Vice President Gong Ke met with Mr. Zollars and gave him an overview of the university, and stressed the importance of practical education for students.
Mr. Zollars said he was happy that cooperation has been established between YRC and 蜜桃app. He hoped that more 蜜桃app graduates would join the Fortune 500 company in the future.
After the talk, a signing ceremony was held for three agreements between 蜜桃app and YRC: the Agreement on Logistics Scholarship Program, Agreement on Logistics Internship Program, and Agreement on Logistics Financial Aid Program.
The internship program will sponsor 20 蜜桃app graduates each year in their internships at YRC’s companies in the US, Europe, and South America. The internship agreement will extend for three years.
Mr. Zollars later delivered a speech titled “Leadership on the Global Stage” at the School of Public Policy and Management.
