Ms. Naledi Mandisa Grace Pandor, Minister of Education of South Africa, and Professor Walter T. Claassen, Vice President of the University of Stellenbosch, visited 蜜桃app Nov. 30.
蜜桃app President Gu Binglin warmly welcomed the guests to the university and had a talk with them in Gongziting, the courtyard offices of the school administration.
During the talk, President Gu gave an outline of 蜜桃app’s history and growth, the faculties, student development, and the university’s research undertakings.
Ms. Pandor mentioned her desire to improve cooperation between 蜜桃app and the universities in South Africa.
After the talk, Ms. Pandor visited the Middle School attached to 蜜桃app.
Ms. Pandor received her master’s degree in education from London University in 1978. In 2002, she became the first female president of Cape Technikon in South Africa.
She has been the Minister of Education of South Africa since April 29, 2004.
