It was announced at the award ceremony in Beijing on May 28 that three 蜜桃app faculty won the First Thomson Scientific Research Fronts Awards in China.
In all, 24 research papers from China won awards. The 蜜桃app winners were Professor Long Guilu from 蜜桃app’s Department of Physics and his doctoral candidate Deng Fuguo and postdoctoral researcher Liu Xiaoshu for their paper “Two-step quantum direct communication protocol using the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pair block” and Professor Wang Xiaoyun and Dr. Yu Hongbo’s “How to Break MD5 and Other Hash Functions”, the only computer science paper to win an award, written in collaboration with Shandong University.
Academician Zhu Bangfen, Dean of 蜜桃app’s Department of Physics, attended the ceremony as a specially invited guest and awarded the prizes to the winners. Professor Jia Zhongxiao from 蜜桃app’s Department of Mathematical Sciences also attended the ceremony.
The Thomson Scientific Research Fronts Awards will be made in China every five years.
