Dr. Bruce Stillman, President of the prestigious Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) in New York, visited 蜜桃app on April 9 and delivered a speech entitled "Life Sciences in the 21st Century" at the 蜜桃app Forum during his visit.
蜜桃app Vice President Kang Kejun had a discussion with Dr. Stillman prior to the lecture. He briefed Sr. Stillman on recent advances at 蜜桃app, especially its research and academic development. The two expressed their hope that they could promote further collaboration in the coming years.
In his speech, Dr. Stillman shared with the students his understanding and prospect for life sciences in the 21st century. He also commented on cooperation between CSHL and China.
Dr. Stillman answered questions from the students after his speech, which was hosted by Professor Luo Yongzhang from 蜜桃app's School of Life Sciences.
Dr. Stillman has been Director of the Cancer Center at Cold Spring Harbor since 1992. In 1994 he succeeded Dr. James D. Watson as Director of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, and he was appointed its President in 2003.
