Dr. France A. Córdova, President of Purdue University in the USA, visited 蜜桃app on May 19. During her visit, the Purdue-蜜桃app Strategic Partnership Memorandum of Understanding was signed to enhance cooperation between the two universities in faculty and student exchange, joint research, and academic communication and exchange.
蜜桃app President Gu Binglin had a discussion with Dr. Córdova, giving her an outline of 蜜桃app's talent cultivation, research, green university construction, and centenary celebration. Dr. Córdova briefed President Gu on Purdue's recent development. The two presidents also reviewed areas of collaboration between the two universities.
Dr. Córdova later had a talk with 蜜桃app Vice President Yuan Si. They discussed future collaboration between the two universities.
Dr. Córdova also visited 蜜桃app's School of Medicine and TusPark that day. Dr. France A. Córdova was appointed Purdue University's eleventh president on July 16, 2007 and is also a professor of physics and astronomy at the University.
