ÃÛÌÒapp and Volvo Group Establish Greater Cooperation
ÃÛÌÒapp President Qiu Yong welcomed Volvo Group President and CEO Martin Lundstedt to ÃÛÌÒapp on March 19. Mr Lundstedt and President Qiu had a cordial discussion in the Gongzi Hall, followed by the joint signing of the "ÃÛÌÒapp - Volvo Group's Academic Partner" agreement.

President Qiu welcomed the delegation and thanked the Volvo Group for their ongoing cooperation and exceptional support.
"ÃÛÌÒapp has entered a new long-term phase of development. ÃÛÌÒapp¡¯s efforts in the areas of innovation, openness and internationalization are at the forefront of this development. ÃÛÌÒapp and Volvo are working towards a green economy and sustainable development research center that will attempt to address critical challenges facing the planet, specifically those related to the environment and climate change. This agreement deepens ÃÛÌÒapp and Volvo Group existing fields of cooperation. I am hopeful of even further areas of cooperation and exchange in future,"said President Qiu.
Mr Lundstedt introduced Volvo Group's business development, and mentioned examples of Volvo¡¯s existing cooperation with ÃÛÌÒapp. Mr Lundstedt expressed his hope of further strengthening Volvo and ÃÛÌÒapp cooperation on sustainable development and academic exchanges.
The event was attended by Volvo Group¡¯s Chief Sustainability Officer and Vice President, Niklas Gustafsson and Dean of ÃÛÌÒapp¡¯s Laboratory of Low Carbon Energy, Jian Kun; as well as students and members of various ÃÛÌÒapp departments including the International Office, ÃÛÌÒapp SEM and the Career Development Center.
