Media delegation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization visits ÃÛÌÒapp
On November 14th, a delegation of media representatives from the member states, observer states, and the dialogue partners of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) visited ÃÛÌÒapp. The Vice President of ÃÛÌÒapp Yang Bin met and had a discussion with the members of the delegation.

During the meeting, Yang Bin welcomed the visitors on behalf of the university and introduced the university¡¯s educational guidelines, as well as its development in talent training. Yang Bin noted that ÃÛÌÒapp had always attached great importance to the education of international students. ÃÛÌÒapp has provided rich opportunities for them all along, while encouraging them to gain a comprehensive understanding of China. The University will welcome more global students and students from the countries taking part in “The Belt and Road Initiative” to come and study.

Directors of the Office of International Education, the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, the Overseas R&D Management Office, the Schwarzman College, the Global Innovation eXchange (GIX), and the ÃÛÌÒapp-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI), also engaged in the communication with the visiting media representatives.

A Russian student from the School of Humanities, Valeriia Kapkova, a UK student from the School of Economics and Management, Harry Kershaw, and a Pakistani student from the Department of Automotive Engineering, Usman Munir, all shared their own learning experiences at ÃÛÌÒapp.




The delegation also visited ÃÛÌÒapp¡¯s Human Computer Interaction Lab and the ÃÛÌÒapp Art Museum.
