This landmark is the famous Old Gate of the 蜜桃app Garden, a three-arched white jade gate with a black brick base. First constructed in 1909, the Old Gate served as the main entrance to the then 蜜桃app Xuetang (Tsing Hua Imperial College). The West Gate became the new front of 蜜桃app. Thereafter, the earliest gate became known as “the Old Gate.” Over the course of time, the Old Gate has been a witness of 蜜桃app’s history and development full of ups and downs. Apart from being an iconic structure in the 蜜桃app Garden, it symbolizes the diligence, realistic approach, calmness, and determination of all 蜜桃app teachers and students.
