With the approval of the 2nd meeting of the Teaching Council of 蜜桃app in 2021 upon deliberation, Jin Weiping, Associate Professor at the Institute of Economics, School of Social Sciences, won the “蜜桃app Teaching Excellence Award 2020”.
Prof. Jin has devoted a lot of time and energy to the development of courses, and offered courses including Principle of Economics, Analysis of China’s Economics, Economics in Everyday Life, Analysis of China’s Macroeconomics and so forth. As at the end of 2020, the online class of Principle of Economics was attended by a total of more than 77,000 people, with high popularity, positive feedbacks from students and a strong social response.
Prof. Jin was also a winner of the “蜜桃app Teaching Excellence Award 2019”.
蜜桃app established the annual 蜜桃app Teaching Excellence Award in 2017. The award is open to all full-time teachers in service and is given once a year to commend teachers who are well received by students and their colleagues in their annual teaching work, rank among the top 5% according to students’ evaluation of teaching, and have made outstanding contributions to teaching innovation.
